Covid-19 Risk Assessment Guide

Please see below the measures we are taking to ensure the safety of our Guests, staff and ourselves.

What to do if you are planning on coming to Pulteney House.

We will be open for businesses from Mid July 2020 ( subject to government directions ) and can assure guests and visitors that we have taken various extra precautions in line with WHO and Government guidelines and implemented procedures, including:

* Placing anti-bacterial hand sanitizer and extra tissues in communal areas around the Hotels

* Increased cleaning regime in public areas, bedrooms, and behind the scenes

* Additional staff training and awareness of recommended procedures to follow in current circumstances

* Extra cleaning and decontamination procedures will be implemented, in line with WHO/ NHS/Government guidance for environmental cleaning (following a suspected or actual case of COVID-19

Covid-19 Precautions

We would be grateful if all our Guests could kindly read the information below so that you are prepared for your stay with us.

Arrival and Check-In

· We would be grateful if you would not arrive earlier than our 4pm Check-In time unless an earlier time has been agreed prior to your arrival, This is to give us the time we need for the extra cleaning required.

· We will only be Checking-In one set of guests at a time. Please wait outside if we are already with other guests and we will come and get you.

· There will be Hand Sanitiser in the hall for guest use and any area where washing facilities are not readily available.

· Contactless payments will be made where possible to reduce cash handling, either at checkout or preferably by pre-payment before stay via our online booking pages or by providing credit card details for use to pay for the stay.

· Advised social distancing will be maintained on the premises.

Breakfast Service

· We will be serving a reduced number of guests at any one time in our Dining Room. Breakfast is not available in your room.

· There will be timed sittings - from at 7.45am until 9am.

· If you would like a particular time or please arrange this with us before your stay otherwise it will be arranged on a first come first served basis when you Check-In.

· We will still be offering a full cooked breakfast, although the menu may be limited. Whilst restrictions are in force, you will be requested to choose your breakfast the night before as breakfast times are controlled to reduce waiting and serving times.

· We are currently working on our cereal, juice and fruit options and how we can safely serve these.

· Food handling will be done by one person only who will be wearing food safety gloves.

· If guests wish us to wear face masks to serve their breakfast we are very happy to do so.

Cleaning

· Each guest room will be deep cleaned after every departure.

· Frequent touch points will be cleaned by us on a regular basis during the day e.g. front door, bannisters, room door handles etc. using appropriate cleaning products and methods.

· Stringent hand washing and drying taking place by both our staff and ourselves.

· We will be purchasing industrial strength cleaning solutions as advised by the authorities.

· Brochures will be removed from the bedrooms, but all information will be available online through our own web site or Touchstay link, ensuring no loss of information about Pulteney House or Bath in general.
